A much needed vacation!

All is well in the world now. Our little family headed to Destin this weekend for a wonderful long weekend. I took Monday off so we could stay a little longer and I'm so glad I did. Brent's brother, Glenn, Beth & lzabelle are living in Destin for the summer and graciously let us stay with them at their "resort". It was an awesome place with the coolest pool/pool area I've been too. Its perfect for kids and even babies. Saturday night Brent and I even got to have a "date night" while they stayed with Baker.

Baker loved the pool that gradually got deeper. There was an inch of water for a huge portion of the pool. It was great for him.

This little girl is a hoot! She is 2 1/2 and knows no stranger. She spent much of her time floating from family to family at the pool, talking, stealing toys, stealing food, and making us laugh. She is very smart and very funny.

They also had a huge area of splash fountains

In other news, Baker is 9 months old! What a big boy he is. I feel like he is very close to walking, but sometimes they can cruise and stand forever without starting to walk. So who knows? He is very sweet though. He gives us kisses and hugs and is still a great eater. He hasnt really ever refused any food that I have given him. I discovered this weekend that he loves lemons. We are just enjoying every moment with this little guy.

Izabelle is so big!! Wow when did she get so old?!! Guess we haven't seen them in a long time. Love sweet Baker's wrinkley nose smile-he' so precious-and happy 9 months-only a few more until the big ONE!!

Awesome pictures! He is adorable. I am so glad you got to go down to the beach and that you had so much fun!

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3: 12-14
