Easter 2012

We had such a great time this weekend celebrating Easter in Dothan. Baker Man loves going to his grandparents house, especially when they buy him dinosaurs. He ran around saying "ROARRRR" 90% of the time. The other 10% he had 2-4 of them in his arms wherever he went. So, needless to say, his obsession with dinosaurs has grown since collecting these plastic guys.

The girls had their annual egg hunt for money eggs. Its always a good time...

Until you realize you are not alone.

Mom saw a snake and I'm telling you this ordeal freaked.me.out. I have the willies just typing this, but it was dramatic. This is what my nightmares are made of.

Brent said he felt sorry for the snake since he didnt make it to Easter. He probably had his little snake suit ready and everything.
I have to laugh to keep from crying.

As you can see, we moved the action to the front yard. Baker was asleep for the snake drama, thankfully. So, we did a little egg hunting for him in the grass where there was no question.

As you can see, B was still cautious.

We dyed eggs

We got to see our long lost friend, Greg Hagler!

Of course the Easter Bunny made an appearance and brought "supwises".

We had a wonderful lunch with Hank and Regina after church too. Its always great to see them.

I'm so thankful for the gift of Easter and what it means. I hope you enjoyed time with your family as well- minus snakes.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3: 12-14
