"The Drowsy Chaperone"

I had a lovely Sunday activity yesterday. Five of us went to Atlanta to see "The Drowsy Chaperone" at the Fox Theatre. If you havent seen a show at the Fox, you should definately go! This particular show is fairly new on Broadway but is closing soon (I think within the next month or 2) so this tour show is basically our last chance to see it. It was great. Its very clever. They show starts with a "man in chair" who basically guides you along. He is in his apartment and this is where the entire show takes place. Its witty and cheesy and just fun. One fun part was that Georgia Engel who you all know b/c of her disting voice. She was in "Mary Tyler Moore" and played Robert's girlfriends mother on "Everybody Loves Raymond"..Anywho, she was in the original cast on Broadway and also in this tour show! Its fun to see live theatre with actors you've seen on T.V. and such. We left around 8 am and got back around 6:30 pm, so it was an all day event. We did have brunch around 9 and then late lunch at the Brew Pub. Anyway, good friends, good show, good food, great day!

Does Red Rose Ball count as a "show" at the Fox?

No Emily, it does not. I will say there were people at Red Rose that put on a "show" though.

sorry that last comment was from amy kennedy!

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3: 12-14
