I'm getting LASIK!

Or at least I hope so! I have an appointment for a consulation on Feb.1st to see if I am a candiate for the surgery. As most of you know my eyes are TERRIBLE! They have been bad sine 4th grade and get progressively worse every time I go to the eye doctor. When the nurse asked me what my prescription was, she gasped and then said she didnt think the doctor would do lasik on someone so mioptic (aka blind). My brother had a consulation back in Dec. and could not get the surgery due to a cornea problem. Please say a prayer that I will be able to get the surgery. Not because I just dont want to wear contacts, but b/c my vision is so bad and I'm afraid if I can't get it I will go blind before age 40. Gooooooooo LASIK!

I hope you get it!!! I just wish everyone had the pleasure of seeing your white rimmed glasses in the 4th grade. They were classic!

Good Luck, Lins - I got it done about six years ago and it's amazing what they can do. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Lins, I hope you can get the surgery. I remember back in the day you had some glasses that were gold with white around the lenses. I bet I could find a picture of you wearing them. I can't believe were in our late 20's now. Oh how time flies!!!GOOOOOO Lasik!!! LUCY

Good Luck, Kenny! I will be praying for your eyeballs.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3: 12-14
